Waiting List Information
The Perry County Board of Developmental Disabilities (PCBDD) helps individuals and families access the supports they need, whether through local resources, Medicaid services, County Board funding, or Medicaid home and community-based waivers.
Because waivers are only one source of funding, being placed on a waiting list does not mean supports are unavailable. PCBDD will work with you to identify available resources and coordinate services based on your current and future needs. This may include community support, Medicaid State Plan services, county-funded programs, unpaid supports, or waiver enrollment when appropriate.
If you experience a new immediate need, require additional services within the next 12 months, or anticipate changing needs in the future, your Service and Support Administrator (SSA) will work with you to explore available options and develop a plan that best supports your goals. The County Board will complete a Waiting List Assessment to determine if placement on the Waiting List is appropriate.
