The Perry County Board of Developmental Disabilities (PCBDD) is a great place to work. The staff is a highly dedicated and specially trained group of people representing many professions and varying levels of education ranging from high school diplomas to master’s degrees. Many staff must meet certification or registration standards set by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and/or the Ohio Department of Education. Each professional also meets standards in their own particular field.

PCBDD employees must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED, or meet specific education requirements as a result of their position. Anyone interested in employment with the Perry County Board of Developmental Disabilities can check for job openings and apply online or in-person to the Administrative Supports Director. Click here to view current job postings and apply online. The application can be completed online* and emailed to Jessica Stroup at j.stroup@perrydd.org, or printed and mailed to Jessica Stroup 601 Senior Drive, New Lexington, Ohio 43764.  *A PDF program is recommended when completing the online application.

PCBDD employees are members of the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS). In addition to an excellent retirement program, benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a prescription drug benefit, flexible spending account options, and other benefits associated with public service. Background checks and drug testing are required for employment.

The Perry County Board of Developmental Disabilities does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, creed, sex, national origin, age, or disability.
